Tips to Find Missed Geoculi in Liyue
The Liyue region in Genshin Impact contains 131 Geoculus hidden between rocks, behind waterfalls, and on top of cliffs. Although finding all these collectibles can be tiring, you get many Primogems and buffs if you submit them to a Statue of the Seven.
To effectively find missed Geoculus, consider the following tips:
- The Geoculus is located in the deepest part of the ruins. However, it can only be accessed after clearing the The Chi of Guyun World Quest.
- You can find a little windmill on top of a hill. You can use your Anemo skill on it to activate a wind current. This will allow you to glide up to a Geoculus.
- In the northwest area of Qingce Village, you will see a waterfall and a pond. Enter the cave to the right of the waterfall, where you will find an inactive Ruin Guard that will not attack. Look up to see the Geoculus and climb up the cave walls to reach it.
- In the same area as the #2 Geoculus, you can locate the #4 Geoculus inside a cave to the right of the pond below the waterfall. It’s easy to miss, but once you see it, head inside the cave to grab the Geoculus.
- To find missing Geoculus, utilize the Geoculus Resonance Stone. You can unlock the Geoculus Resonance Stone blueprint by reaching level 2 Reputation in Liyue City. Once equipped, it will display an area from where you have yet to collect Geoculus.
- Keep in mind that you can craft a Geoculus Resonance Stone using specific items. Note that the stone acts like a consumable, implying you’ll need to create a new one for every missing Geoculus.
- Only one Geoculus is locked behind a side quest (the vault one). All others can be obtained right away.
Understanding Geoculus Resonance Stone and Its Uses
Geoculus Resonance Stone Overview
Geoculus Resonance Stone is a Gadget material (item) in Genshin Impact 5.3. It can be used in Liyue to search for nearby Geoculi. This exquisite stone plate imitates a certain mysterious quality of the Geo Statues of The Seven, causing it to lead people to the location of Geoculi. Elemental Oculi represent the lost power of the Statues of The Seven, perhaps offering this power back to the statues also has significance for the lands that the gods watch over.
How to Obtain Geoculus Resonance Stone
To craft the Geoculus Resonance Stone, follow these steps:
- Get the Blueprint as a Liyue Reputation Reward.
- Use the Blueprint in the Precious Item Menu.
- Go to a craft place and craft the Geoculus Resonance Stone.
Using Geoculus Resonance Stone
Geoculus Resonance Stone can only be used once per craft. Once used, a blue circle will appear on the map, signifying the location of one or more Geoculi in the specified area. The steps to use it are:
- Open Inventory & Gadget List.
- Equip the Geoculus Resonance Stone from the Inventory Menu.
- Use it with a shortcut.
After using an Oculus Resonance Stone, a blue area will appear on your map. You must search for the Elemental Oculus within this blue area. When an Elemental Oculus appears on your mini-map, the blue area will disappear. Please note that you cannot use another Oculus Resonance Stone while the current one is still in effect or if another Elemental Oculus is nearby.
Restrictions and Cooldowns
They have a cooldown of 300 seconds after use. The Anemoculus Stone will only work in Mondstadt, while the Geoculus Stone will only work in Liyue. The cooldown is 300 seconds if an oculus is detected and 5 seconds if not.
Benefits of Geoculus Resonance Stone
The Geoculus Resonance Stone is a consumable gadget that helps track down Geoculi you may have missed or had difficulty finding. After crafting the item for the first time, a notification will prompt you. Press B to open the inventory to view your gadgets, then select the item to equip it.
Once used, the Geoculus collected can be handed in at the Statues of the Seven, allowing you to increase your rank and benefit from improved stats.
Obtaining the Blueprint
To obtain the Geoculus Resonance Stone crafting blueprint, reach Reputation Level 2 in Liyue. The Anemoculus Resonance Stone crafting blueprint is obtained in a similar manner by reaching Reputation Level 2 in Mondstadt.
The rewards are Blueprints, which can then be used to build the Resonance Stones at any crafting bench, provided you have the required materials.
