Starglow Cavern can be tricky. To deal with ice here, you’ll need a scavenger hunt for Scarlet Quartz. You can find them on the ground nearby. Grab one and attack the ice. Use fire damage to chip away at it. Swords or fire magic can help too.
Hilichurl Camps and Floating Platforms
Hilichurls, our troublesome pals. Their camp hides another Scarlet Quartz for smashing. Break it and glide to a floating platform. From there, attack or shoot the third shard. Boom! All shards thawed. Puzzle solved.
“In the Mountains” Quest Shards: Location, Location, Location
Stuck on “In the Mountains” quest? Not to worry. Here are shard locations:
- Shard 1: Snow Covered Path, North East of the mountain. Simple.
- Shard 2: West of the mountain, between Wyrmrest Valley and Entombed City Outskirts. Find the icy circle puzzle.
- Shard 3: Mountain center, deep within Starglow Cavern. Prepare for a descent.
Fragile Bone Shards: Enemy Drops
Need Fragile Bone Shards? Hunt elite enemies instead. Six specific foes drop these shards:
- Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling
- Geovishap

Want to farm them? Run an Apocalypse Adventure – this increases aberration spawns. Seek Water Tile Sets with Drones near red stones for quick escapes or returns. Eliminate all drones but one and damage it slightly. This triggers reinforcements. A loud sound means bigger reinforcements or a mini-boss could .
Draconic Evolution: Chaos Shards – Guardian Takedown
