Can You Gift Skins in Warzone?

Starting Season 1 Reloaded, Call of Duty added the requested feature to the games, allowing players to send and receive gifts from their friends. However, do note that this feature is only available on consoles, i.e., on PlayStation and Xbox. If you’re a PC , you can receive gifts but won’t be able to send one.

To gift store bundles in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, follow these steps:

  • Launch Call of Duty HQ.
  • Head over to either Black Ops 6 or Warzone.
  • Navigate to the in-game store.
  • Look up the bundle you wish to gift and select Preview.
  • Press R1 to switch to the gifting menu.
  • Select a friend from the list.
  • Purchase the bundle and done.

However, make sure you have sufficient COD Points balance in your to purchase the bundle.

There are certain rules and guidelines that you must adhere to for gift store bundles:

  • All gifts purchased and received gifts are non-refundable.
  • Players can send three gifts every 24 hours.
  • Players can send only one gift per week to each recipient.
  • The recipient must be added as a friend in the games.

In the Season 1 Reloaded update, Activision deployed a secret feature allowing you to gift store bundles to anyone on your friends list in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. However, if you’re on PC, you won’t be able to gift any bundles at the time of writing. The gifting system has not yet been made available on PC, regardless of whether you’re on Steam, Battle.Net, or Game . For console players, you can still gift bundles to players on PC. The main restriction of the gifting system in Black Ops 6 is you are unable to gift a bundle you don’t own. This means you have to purchase a bundle twice in order to gift it to a friend. If you choose to gift a bundle, that purchase is not refundable.

The gifting feature in Warzone works the same way as in Black Ops Cold War. Players can gift others a Battle or bundles purchased via the in-game store with ease. To use the Warzone gifting feature, head over to the Battle menu or the menu of a bundle in the game’s store you wish to gift, ensuring you have enough COD Points to purchase the item.

Additionally, the Warzone gifting feature can be used to send gifts to friends across all platforms and all countries where the game is available. There are really only two requirements for using the gifting feature:

  • You need enough COD Points (throw your wallet at Activision to get more) to purchase the gift.

Warzone Skins: Are They Worth the Investment?

With the release of Season 4, an unexpected skin is set to debut in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 — the Crash Bandicoot bundle. This is part of a crossover to celebrate the Crash Team Rumble.

The Crash Bandicoot Bundle “Tracer Pack” for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will be available on June 20, 2023, aligning perfectly with the release date for Crash Team Rumble. The bundle will cost 1,800 COD Points, which is equivalent to $12. It includes:

  • Two blueprints for Sniper and SMG weapons
  • A lethal skin — a first for the series
  • Simple cosmetics such as an ATV Skin
  • Three stickers
  • A brand-new loading screen featuring Crash Bandicoot and friends

Additionally, three other bundles have been released so far this season, with more expected in Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 1. Here’s an overview of the bundles currently known:

  • The Tracer Pack: Dragonic Forge Mastercraft bundle priced at 3000 . Its items feature a dragon-inspired design. Included items:
    • “Dragon Knight” animated Ultra Skin for the Westpoint Operator
    • “Mecha-Drake” Saug SMG Weapon Blueprint
    • “Emberscald” ASG-89 shotgun Weapon Blueprint
    • “Ash and Bone” Finishing move
    • “Draconic” Reticle
    • “So Metal” Emblem
    • “Reforger” Spray
    • “Dragon Breath” Emote
    • “Siege Drill” Drill charge skin
  • The Tracer Pack: Parasite Warrior Ultra Skin bundle priced at 2400 . This bundle has a gruesome parasitic theme. Included items:
    • “Host” Ultra Skin for the Carver Operator
    • “Idiopathic” Krig C assault rifle Weapon Blueprint
    • “Exo-Organism” GPMG-7 LMG Weapon Blueprint
    • “Parasite Feast” Companion Finishing Move
    • “Flesh Tangle” Kazamir Device Skin (exclusive to BO6 Zombies)
    • “Pest Control” Emote
    • “Back Spasm” animated Calling Card
    • “Fearwood” Loading Screen
    • “Caustic Flight” Weapon Sticker
    • “Idle Eyes” Legendary GobbleGum (exclusive to BO6 Zombies)
  • The CDL Launch Pack which costs 2000 and features a range of items inspired by Call of Duty’s professional esports league. Included items:
    • “2025 CDL Home” Competitor Operator Skin
    • “2025 CDL Away” Competitor Operator Skin
    • “Splashed” universal Camo
    • “It’s Never Chalked” Calling Card
    • “The Competitor” animated Calling Card
    • “To The Bank” Weapon Charm
    • “Furocious” Large Decal
    • “1v1 Me” Emblem
    • “Ex XP” Spray
    • “It’s My Year” animated Emblem

However, be aware that purchasing every cosmetic bundle in Warzone could cost more than $6,000 US Dollars. The total for all bundles in Call of Duty: Warzone nears 1 million COD Points. To optimally purchase three quarters of a million COD Points, one would need to buy the 10,000 (+3,000 bonus) bundle for $100 USD, a total of sixty-one times. This brings the grand total to approximately $6,066 US Dollars.
